1. Sensor is usually installed at a high place without obstacles that may affect the measurement of the wind speed and direction.
2. The diameter of its support tube is about 50mm.
3. Pass the communication cable through the tube. Then connect the plug of the cable into the socket on the sensor's bottom. Then twist the outer sleeve of the plug until you feel a click.
4. Mount the sensor onto the support tube. Make sure its north maker points to the due north by using compass. Then fix the sensor to the support tube by 3 screws.
5. The shell is suggested to be earthed. Earthing resistance is less than 5ohm in plain area and 15ohm in mountain area. 6
. The cable is not supposed to be hung in the air. It should be fixed firmly to avoid being broken by wind.
